What they wrote

The first thing I noticed on the drive to Nautical Hotel was how dramatically the landscape changed. Leaving the airport behind, we followed winding mountain roads through southwestern Turkey, with pine forests, rugged cliffs, and glimpses of turquoise water appearing around every bend. An hour and a half later, we arrived in Faralya, a place where the mountains seem to tumble straight into the sea. I had visited beautiful corners of Turkey before, but this stretch of the Lycian coast felt particularly wild, almost cinematic. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, Nautical Hotel is a destination for those who want to experience this landscape rather than simply admire it from a distance.
